complexity

thinking about how cities evolve as organisms; how populations grow and shift and spread towards the edges-edges move further from the center. thinking about how people inhabit cities in predictable patterns that can be observed and monitored like trails of ants or flocks of birds...thinking too, about the difference between making idea-based work and instinct-based. i have these ideas-things i am curious about exploring, then stop short because "i don't make that kind of work". not sure when i started drawing boundaries again.
