making rhubarb sorbet

what is it about early summer and the need to make yummy dishes that require a lot of elbow grease? i just made a pie probably around the same time of your rhubarb sorbet. i'd say there was something in the water but 3k miles makes that difficult. how did it turn out?? was it easy-ish to make? did you get to use a heavy duty kitchen gadget? it sounds really good.

it's actually super easy and sour and sweet and delicious. requires only a big pot, a cuisinart and some kind of icecream maker. and it almost seems healthy, since rhubarb is, after all, vegetableish. what kid of pie did you make?
